Hi! I am Robyn Rayner. I am a Registered Massage Therapist, a Crossfit Level 2 coach, and a Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism coach.
I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2010 and have been practicing as a RMT since June of 2010. I have been lucky enough to work alongside Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists, fellow RMT's, Midwives, and other health practitioners in my career. I now practice our of my beautiful home in order to maintain a better work and family balance. I am very passionate about health, fitness and self care for myself and my patients/clients.
I have a passion for treating pregnant and postpartum women and have taken specific courses for Massage Therapy during the Childbearing Year to help insure the best care possible to women during this time.
I teach a pregnancy and postpartum class at Taranis Athletics, offer one-on-one personal training, remote programming and have an online program geared to helping new mamas return to exercise postpartum.
Prior to becoming a mom I competed in Crossfit at an elite level. I have been to the Crossfit Games on Team Taranis in 2011, 2013, and 2014, and competed at the Regional level in 2016 and 2017. Shortly after I competed in 2017 I become pregnant, and throughout my pregnancy with my son I realized that there wasn't a ton of evidence based research on training during pregnancy & postpartum, so I took it upon myself to become the coach that I needed.
My goal is to empower and help as many women as possible navigate this transitional chapter of their lives.
